I suggest that y'all trace the history of ones religion and find out their roots if they are following what has been written in the Holy Scripture.

I think you have it backwards. The authority and validity of the teachings of the Church do not come from the Bible. The authority of the Bible comes from the Church since it was the Church that determined what books should be part of the Bible in the first place.

The early Christians had no Bible. So what were they supposed to follow? Well, the followed the Church!

The Catholic Church eventually wrote things down and collected the older Hebrew scriptures (which Jesus used, by the way). After some time, it declared that certain books were Inspired and collected them into the Bible. So without the Catholic Church there would be no Bible.

Another thing... one of the main rules used to determine what should go intot he Bible was CONSISTENCY WITH CHURCH DOCTRINE. In other words, the books in the Bible had to conform to Catholic teaching before it was put included as part of the Bible. So obviously, the Bible is an AFFIRMATION of Catholic doctrine.

Well, like most of the youths today I doubted my faith. I hate the Catholic Church.Â* I disagree with the official position of the Church on many issues like population control, euthanasia etc. I thought I was smart than the Church composed of priests.Â* I even hate priests because i see them as cunning businessmen. I dont attend mass anymore.

If by chance you mean "Roman Catholic" then you are dead wrong. First, Christ is a Jew. Second the word "catholic" means "universal" as what it means in the apostoles prayer. So don't take it like Christ was and is a "Roman Catholic" coz that would spell as blasphemy. [/color]
