Yup there is such thing as good greed. Let's just say that your greed for money is what motivated you to seek greener pastures in the first place, whether you are in business or an employee. It makes you want to work hard for a greater success or whatever your goal maybe.
But guys, you also have to remember that greed is the root of evil. You may want to hoard in lots of money so you and your children and your grandchildren may benefit from it. Hoarding is never good, I may say so.

You have too much of everything, while some people have too little. Maybe you would say that you don't really care about other people and it's survival of the fittest. But too much of something is NOT always a good thing. Being greedy is being selfish. Well, you can be greedy to the point that life is comfortable for you.

Then if you are still hoarding in the money after you have too much of everything, you may give to charities. Think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, donating $6 something million to charities. Same with Bill Gates. Or your idol, Warren Buffet who donated billions to charities. The reason they are successful is because they used greed as a motivation, then when they realize they have too much of that, then they help out other people in need.

In other words, allow greed up to a certain level that is acceptable. If there is too much greed, it could lead to your downfall. You can probably name a few people who were too greedy, leading to their demise.

neivete? did you mean naivety (or naivete)?

regarding loyal employees, that's why you need to be hands on.
You can't say that just because you have different businesses in the country, you can't attend to them all. you can! Makaya gani with those people far far far richer than you are. They have businesses all over the world. Why can't you do the same??

I'm sure you are not that narrow minded na you're just gonna assume that what i meant by hands on you do everything. Nope, I don't mean that at all. It's knowing what goes on in companies that you invest in. Say for example, you said you have shares in call centers. Uhmm but you don't know a thing about operations, training, etc, etc. I bet you don't even know that in times of "crisis" like mu down ang system even for just one day, you lose a looooot of money!
If you're a genuine businessman, you would be "dying" to know what's going to happen with your money if you invest. You have to know the basic "ins and outs", etc etc.

it is good to be patriotic, but only to a certain degree or level as well.
maybe you could do something like buy local products, etc. etc.
Look at countries who don't want to be part of the "globalization"
they are left behind. they are hungry.
i think i've mentioned several times in this thread that for this world to continue revolving there has to be a balance of everything. not everyone can be in business, and not every good businessman can be a good employee.
do you really think japan doesnt have any american or any foreign investors involved in making them rich? if they don't have, i don't think they would be that successful. japan is pushing for globalization as well.
As for true patriotism, a friend joked to me. if you want to be patriotic, go and get urself killed in some parts of mindanao. LOL. that is funny, but it is a fugly truth.

p.s. I hope you'll achieve that dream to be in biz soon =)

A current economic survey was done and concluded that a Filipino needs to earn at least 24,000/month to suffice with the current prices & needs. People reaching this salary mark are considered marginally poor.

Isn't it a routinary job that numbs out all your other senses?
Isn't it a "garbage" job thats not fitted for people like you?
Fooled by the wrong perception of a good job?

Never tell me it's the only job there is....
Never tell me you don't have any common sense.
Never bound yourself on what you only saw.
You are not a robot. Aren't you?

After all your works..what can you boast about yourself?.....the "twang"?
Its a fake perception of success & high achievement.
    There's no achievement in it.

    THE BUSINESSMAN
    They have the brains working...
They have the courage exercised all the time...
They have the real pride of achievements.
And most of all they have what is called "LIFE"

Not exactly. If a person don't have any experience in business better to start in a job like call center. The best option to start business is part time. If the income in the part time business is equal or greater than the full time job, That is the best time to resign and go full time in business.

I agree. as per Robert Kiyosaki, Job, Business, investments, professions are all just a vehicles if you want to become successful in life. As all vehicle need driver to run. Someone have to gauge his skill and knowledge what vehicle he can drive. Then eventually learn how to drive the other vehicles too.
