have you heard of PIER genre? punk-emo-indie-rock? no idea? try listening to MAE. my personal fave band, its incomparable, well crafted songs, new melodies and rare song writing. its not the typical punk or emo music. makes u relax and sleep.
want emo? how bout the juliana theory.. i got thier emotion is dead album(bootleg), and i have to say it's one of my fave cds in the emo genre.. thier newst album,love, has gotten a lot of great reviews, but i still cant find a copy, atay kau dri pinas way ayo mga record stores..

i've been listening to more than a couple of bands that i personally consider as "post emo" (still quite emo, but without the driving/screaming parts but the effect is still quite cathartic nonetheless)... Have u guys heard of Spitalfield, Brandston and Anberlin whoah.. these groups are way too cool to pass up.... try checking them out on the net (www.allmusic.com)...
