The Vatican has specifically issued several warnings against freemasonry. The older freemason organizations (mainly in Europe) are specifically and explicitly anti-Catholic. Most masonic lodges claim they have no specific religion, but in so doing they also disavow Christianity. And freemasonry actually seems to espouse some kind of "naturalism" which denies the divinity of Christ and is thus also opposed to Christianity.

I think Dacs posted some Catholic Church documents about freemasonry already. The bottom line is that you cannot be a freemason and a faithful Catholic at the same time. Correct me if I'm wrong, Dacs, but I think to become a freemason is to incur excommunication.

    God bless!

Lain pangutana, I've noticed that the past two Archbishops of Manila and Cebu are Cardinals. Kinahanglan ba jud nga Cardinal ang mga arsobispo sa Manila ug Cebu?. In case Vidal is replaced, will there be a possibility nga i-elevate siya as Cardinal?

History has shown us that Catholicism has never been about forgiveness. Forgiveness is up to you and God. The church is there to send you to him. I can only thank God the church no longer has a hold on society as it did many centuries ago.

I suggest that y'all trace the history of ones religion and find out their roots if they are following what has been written in the Holy Scripture. One has to follow the Word of God inorder to be save that's one basic rule. If one group can't follow what has been written then there must be something wrong with it. If one group has these rites and all those things not in accordance with the Bible, then there's something wrong with it.

    Substantiate please.

It is one thing to make a comment and another to attack the reputation of a community. I'll assume that you have extensively and intensively studied this matter.

In your way of thinking, how will you implement the words of Christ when He told His apostles that whose sins they have forgiven are indeed forgiven?

When was this (i.e., church having a hold on society)? Please specify.

complete adherence to a religion is the most circuitous way to God. oftentimes, it gets you lost in the forest of confusion. for Roman Catholicism, mao nay giingon sa mga Protestanteng bisdak nga 'Katulo-liko'.
