what database you are talking here that needs somebody to worry about? we deployed database structure, not a database server (which need license but not you but from your client), customer asked you to write it for their Xdatabase Server, you deploy that with no worries at all. and NO! its not your scope that you need to worry about, if they are not using a legit copy of Database Sever.

aside from that, if you are talking about MS and Oracle here, they already expanding a FREE Database Engine since 2005. I'm not against to these opensource like MySQL and PostgreSQL.. ORACLE and MICROSOFT is constantly improving, and they giving such free packages more likely more than to what opensource can give., talking about Enterprise editions, is NOT FREE,

You have Oracle Database 10g Express Edition to choose from, Free to develop, deploy, and distribute, similar to what we have in SQL Server Express Edition. As far as I know the upgrade is not that expensive, the cost and effeciency is helpful when you got tons of items to hold. Even Opensource database are not completely FREE, it used to, but business is business... there is MySQL Enterprise, and there's that Microsoft and Oracle Enterprise, talking about support? I can't tell about MySQL, but I can guarantee Microsoft SQL support team in singapore is 24/7, which works fine to almost every small-medium to big companies here...

but again, nobody deploy a database we deploy database structures, which already been decided during the first phase of the project.

I was talking about the situation of student or new learners. I'm not talking about TECHNOJARGONS. I was referring to a layman's terms rather than hearing all those this and that. At least letting them know what is better than hearing all those technical details we don't necessarily absorbed.

I prefer let them research on their own phase, than telling all the details.

I share my knowledge freely. I don't talk how great I am by a flood of techno jargons, and mostly I'm not trying to help new learners by suggesting for my service in exchange for a price.

    Kaluoy sa mga new learners....................

FYI, I suggested sa TS to include and implement User and Data Security or make use of the ACL on the domain plus on the Encrypting and Decrypting Data accross the network. dagdag sa pag negotiate nya sa price. and lately, we were talking about OU in Win2K3 server, he did implement already but not completely to what I'm referring., That's why I'm suggesting to him for additional knowledge narin

Is that the reason why you post a false information, and this deployment process with database so you are the good samaritan here glad to here that, hoping you are not a false prophet...sharing free knowledge at wrong perceptions.

some sort of defense mechanism? Please next time, when you share knowledge make sure that it is CORRECT ayaw pataka ug share. If you are not sure, do some little research sad, and give them a right direction. cge ka ingon for the sake of new learner? murag mas new learner pa man hinoun ka your attitude speaks out load

    I'm just mocking you.

bakakon man gud kaayo ka dodie hehehe.... again, ok ra mo share, as long as you know the materials, and you know what you are talking about. It doesn't make any sense man gud LOL... you told us that you don't spoonfeed? yet you give wrong perceptions. you once told that you want the new learner to make some good research, but what you've been telling from the start is insanely wrong!

I'm not positioning myself on the top of everyone else here, I don't even give answers to JAVA, PHP, VB and other related WEB technology or Games programming, coz I know I haven't done that seriously. But at least I never give a damn informations to them.because only two things they will think about you when sooner or later they will know... its either NAGSISINUNGALING or NAGYAYABANG.
    peace bro :P
