naa me coming na develop na application. actually, gamit ani kay power builder..

amu plano is gamit ug c# or vb.. then nag think pa me sa database.

wat man nice na language gamiton and dtabase para sa ani na application..

just an info system sa person,, mga common lang gud na fields like last name, first name, etc. then halos 2 million to 3 million guro ka data ang e-store.

open-open lang gud ta ninyu.. eheheh.. share2 lang bah..

e web base nalang, same raman lang.. kung desktop application, imo database, naka reside japon sa inyo, same japon kung imo e web base na intranet.. nga ang database, naka reside japon, wala sa web.. much more nice ang web base ninyo kay dili na kaylangan e install, open lang ka og browser then find the path where your program reside, then mao lang..

sa company project ba ni? or personal project baka maka hits hehehe...

I will just assume that you want to implement this on .NET Framework, whether C# or VB as language. best partner is MSSQL.

if DESKTOP APPROACH Have you ever tried to implement User and Data Security? make use of the ACL on the domain? plus on the Encrypting and Decrypting Data accross the network?

If this is your personal project, I try to make some base code for you and if talking about .NET particularly in C# I haven't done this, fortunately I'm lucky to have some resources, friend of mine is at the indonesian government, developing on this area, he is one of the reason why I step in to this C# and .NET thing. this isn't required for most of the project, but if you add this, you can negotiate the price.

that's great....
I was thinking how the project being deployed if database used is liscensed or opensource. It could have been better if the database used is free/opensource. It wont be problem deploying it anywhere.
