@vipvip68 sakto ka bro confusing siya.
mas nindut if imo gaming rig naa sa gawas para inkaso naay visitor na mo play sad nya para lingaw2x sad nila or unsa ba. nya ok sad na murag naay server didto sa imo room nya hd capable pero dili highend gaming.
    i think ako pilion is
    1. Keep my main rig as is and upgrade my secondary rig for htpc use
sa ako lang ha. ambot lang sa uban.

Yup.. You're right... mas maayo if main rig outside the room para maka gamit sad ang uban.

Ako gyung gi kalibogan is naa man gud koy new nga 42in nga LCD TV for the bedroom.. then sayang kaayo if di gamiton for games sad. Murag mas enjoy man siguro with a 42in... unya mahal mahal pa sad if mag Eyefinity ko kay gasto pa ko 2 new monitors.. then mangita pa ko'g kanang naay displayport...

Huwat nalang siguro ko kung daghan daghan nay nag gamit ug displayport...

What do you think is better.... Gaming on a 42" LCD TV nga 1080p, 120Hz, 2ms OR Gaming on 3 ka 24" 1920x1200 monitors nga naka eyefinity?

Magkalisod siguro akong 5770 kung 3 ka 1920x1200 i-drive... then di sad supported ang eyefinity nga res sa tanan games. On the other hand... nindot sad to have 3 monitors nga naka span... mura nag command center ang pc.

As it is now, murag good enough pa man ang duha ka systems bisag medyo dated na ang Athlon X2. Pero I think a year from now, murag kailangan na gyud ni ug update... kay murag ma bottleneck na ang CPU sa mga newer games.

or..for far less than 20k u can set up an ion based htpc.. all you'd need to buy would be the board. you should still be able to use your existing memory, case and power supply. you can find some good ion boards on new egg for about $150

For me... murag pointless man ang Nvidia Ion....

True.. it has a faster GPU... pero from the benchmarks and reviews I've read, ma bottleneck siya because it's using the current Intel Atom processors.

@vipvip68 a 3 monitors would be better than a 1 big screen monitor gamit kaau na nya choi sad tan.awon dili common tan.awon heheh sigi man ta kita anang dagko na screen pero di ta sigi kita anang daghan na screen. nya if guba isa naa pa ka daghan nya daghan uses while ang imo one big screen one lang siya nya kailangan layu ok ra siya for movies di kaau sa games kay much better man ang eyefinity sa games kung dako na na view. anyway naa koy nabasagan na nag release na screen same atong sa alienware katong 32:10 na ratio na monitor na corved dako sad to murag i think mo gawas na jud na sila sa entrylevel madugay nindut siya kay maka liso2x naka sa imo ulo nya wa nakay makita na mga vertical na bars na blank caused by edges sa mga LCD monitors na gi sumpay.

ion is very ok for laptops kay naay gamayng gaming pero on this setup di ma kaya kulang ug power hinay ra kaau ang atom karon next year release na ilang 4xx ug 5xx series na mas kusog pero ambot unsa ka kusog. bottleneck jud kaau nag iyang processor sa iyang graphics dili nindut pagka timpla. how about quad atoms haha, if ever naa naman gani.

Though you have a point with energy efficiency... would like to leave the pc on all the time unya I can connect to it remotely via VNC. Gamit sad pang dload sad ug files .
yes it will it will fit the SG03

    GIGABYTE AMD 785G web

    GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H
    GA-MA785GMT-UD2H

these two models i mentioned above have DDR3 support aand micro aTX form factor.

there are also DDR2 support models and Also full ATX form. if you have an extra DDR2 there basin u might like the DDR2 models
**the DDR3 models cannot supprt your X2 3600+ kay wala ni cya ddr3 controller

    Thanks for the link!

If mag ilis ko'g board.. might as well go for ddr3 na.

Ni abot na gyud ang 42" lcd tv...

Nindot sya for movies pero for browsing the web and gaming, I think I still prefer the 24"... murag lahi ra man ang colors sa LCD... I'm still fiddling around with the picture adjustments, color temp settings etc...

I also tested several games (HAWX, Borderlands and MW2). It's pretty nice pero it takes time to get used to the screen. The colors arent as accurate sad compared to the 24" nako.... basin it's the panel or maybe its just setting sa tv... ill need to do more tests.

I thought I would abandon my 24" lcd na when the tv came pero Im back sa akong main rig.

Ill take pics nya to illustrate..

I think so... di man kailangan kusog kung htpc.. kay pang play ra man ug media and di sad necessary nga pang games sya.

With a 780G chipset nga board, amd proc and 2-4gig ram, barato na kaayo ang htpc rig.
