WHen I graduated from college, ganahan sad gyud ko mag med..i took and passed the NMAT last year and even had plans with some of my friends. My mom and a lot of my relatives really wanted me to become a doctor..well childhood dream man sd na nako..But then, when I was reviewing for my board exam adto nako nag second thoughts if pursuing a degree in Med is what i really wanted..I dunno, mura ra gyud ko nakalitan sa thought. I sought the advice of other people, and they told me the same pieces of advice as the Istoryans here posted I realized that I don't want to spend a lot of years with education (but Medicine is really rewarding, dont get me wrong) so I want to work lang jud and give back what my family had sacrificed just for my education. Eventually, i also realized that becoming a doctor is not really my calling..Anyway, I can always excel in my profession and become a really competent nurse. Medyo kapoy man gud amung college of nursing, grabi ka taas ug expectations ang CNU, so medyo na drained na jud ko hehe. As of now, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Nursing..relax2x ra pud gamay..ma busy sad usahay, but no regrets.. It's up to u lang jud sis. listen to what others have to say and weigh whatever options there are to consider..then give it a good thought. good luck

To become a doctor needs a lot of hard work to do...as in...dili lalim! Esp.financially! But if that's what your dreaming of...go for it! Nothing is too hard if you're really determined to become one! It's beyond the call of duty. GOD BLESS on your studies and your decision as well sis! Do something: Continue to kneel it down in prayer! GOD IS ALWAYS CONCERNED EVEN THE SLIGHTEST DETAILS OF OUR LIFE!

tnx sis! back then i really didn't know what to do..i reviewed for my board and went straight to Med school (My exam was june 1-2, i started med on the 7th).. in fact, i was already in my 1st year when i received my NLE results... i really thought it was an easy way out..i was too scared to become an adult hehe now here i am in med school, struggling... anyways, i'm feeling better now than i was when i posted this thread... i think your advices had opened my mind a little wider to see the brighter side of things hehe now, i've decided i'm gonna make this happen...
    tnx uli!
