I'm planning to buy a DSLR and i have two cameras in mind... Canon 450D or Canon 500D
Which only is more practical to buy considering I'm a newbie and also tight on the budget...

500D is a 450D with video capability.
the more practical to buy is whatever higher model that you can afford.
anyway, lens has bigger impact on image quality than body.

Get 500D
Pero if dako ra kaayo ug gap sa price (10k?), get the 450D and save for a nice lens

yes =) say, a 450D with L lens can beat a 500D with non-L lens in terms of iq. apir!
