if it's a first birthday party, and considering that it's already the rainy season... an indoor party would be most practical...
remember, your guests and the celebrant are most likely young and may not appreciate the outdoors as we do, and if you have a poolside party, watching the kids (to avoid drowning) might turn out to be a nightmare...

next year pa man ang party actually..am scouting early for the venue para smooth flowing na ang preparation sa decor ideas pud..=)
