google, yahoo search engines

I cant seem to access the google site and when i search via msn or yahoo, I get "IE cant display the web page". Still the same when i use firefox..... But I can still access the other websites....
Can anyone suggest solution? Thanks in advance......

Thank you sa suggestions bro but i dont think sa connection ni. still get 5mbs download and .70mbs upload thru speedtest. I can access all other websites with no problems. I just cant search thru msn, yahoo, bing and i cant access the google site.

I'll try the default settings of IE. Btw, search still disabled when using firefox.

are you in your office? if so, some sites might be blocked by your net admin...

Nope. Im in the house lang....
I'll try reinstalling firefox but its also the same thing with IE.... I cant even access OpenDNS to download and try-out a different browser. Wala dyud problema browsing other sites...

try daw ping ang Google

try pud tan-aw imong hosts file basig naalter nana either sa virus or sa imong igsuon.
para makita nimo ang hosts file:
goto C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc then open the HOSTS file in notepad.
then scroll at the bottom, then tanawa basig naa diha ang list sa mga site nga dili nimo masudlan.


note: by default, ang nakabutang diha nga value kay ang:
127.0.0.1 localhost

ra, mao rana (except sa ka2ng mga comments nga naa sa taas nga mga nagstart sa '#'

try sad change imong DNS servers to OPEN DNS: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

ping nako google, ok ra man 0% loss... murag virus tingali ky wala may lain mu gamit...

btw, ok ra desktop pc nako. hard wired LAN sya. Kani rang laptop muy problema
