lights off rule stays. we've been lan partying for a year and a half now and that's always how it's been.Just turn down ur brightness nalang bai when you play.
ya, those damn outlets, i hope we don't get that problem next month, our systems shut down at least 4 times.
madz, i was the victim pag feb nga lan party. my PSU was broke and it kept resetting my pc.
This month's lan party was really fun though, i didn't think everyone was willing to give UT a try (and sacrifice 5.5gb). Everyone had a blast with it too. We stayed til 7+ for one last CTF game. Can't wait for more onslaught this April.![]()
Next time, we should do some pregame planning. The BFV game was fun, but there was very little teamwork done (on my side, the NVA). The same goes for UT2004...
This doesn't have to be much... A few "Player 1 goes with Player 2" and "Player 3 spots for Player 4's mortar" will do.
What I'm looking forward to is flying the MiGs and the other aircraft. I've been practicing with the keyboard for flying, and I can shoot down other bots with my MiG 17. Have any of you tried flying the planes with the keyboard? It's difficult, but it can be done.
With a joystick (I'm going to buy a joystick tomorrow...), I might do even better...
I have a month to practice... I wonder how I'll do next time we play?
Anyway, what do you think about MS Flight Simulator 2004? Should I get it? I went to Data Blitz, and I read the requirements... Is it for real? The requirements seem too low for a flight sim
P.S.
As for the "lights out" rule, well... Just because it's the way it's always been doesn't mean that it has to be that way always. Oh well... Not my problem...
Good point. But as you can see, people prefer having the lights out, so your point is pretty much ... ammm ... moot.Originally Posted by J_Amarillo

Actually this is what we usually do.. if i get to team up with Chronnus, brey, dbgg1979, jed, bel, and tim. We make a pretty good team in any game, CIK communication is the key. The reason to this is the fact that we've known each other for quite some time now. i know they're capabilities, and they know my capabilities. That pretty much gives me a "feel" of how to do some efficient team work with these guys.
I heard your effort to rally your team (actually that was our team cos i was NVA too), and your continuous effort to get them to work on objectives. Sad to say it didn't work. Giving out orders or trying to rally troops, whilst being a noob (no offense meant), won't help your team score points. My advice is: Try joining more lan parties, and try to get to know the people you're most likely to be teamed up with during games. Like i said communication is the key.
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you
