    free for the meantime f daghan na mogamit baligya dayon..same with MYSQL sa una free pero karon baligyan na, huhu..

    Good thing you brought this out. Mao sad na akong gi huna2x. Basin mo abot ang time nga dili na free. Look at RedHat. Pero at least naay two versions, enterprise and community based nga totally free.

    Linspire has also released Freespire to attract people but who knows sa future plans?

    hmmmm i dont think so

    there are two types of mysql db available out there
    1. mysql community edition - freely available, but when ur having problem ur on ur own or look for an online forum that can freely help you
    2. mysql network edition - which has the support jud sa vendor and some value added tools. so if ur having problems u already know where to run.

    in short u only pay for the support that ur getting. and they cannot just put this in commercial market because when you say open source it is usually under GNU/GPL lincenses

    and driver support too.

    i even operated a cafe before with all linux installed. it was quite fun and tricky. and i only installed few games uncluding the warcraft III using the cedega compilations and the likes. nahimoot mga customers kay nindot kono og porma, bag-o sa ilang panan-aw, hahahahaha

    try openSUSE...sayon ra kaayo i setup...i had no problems whatsoever setting up the wireless LAN...nya ang samba...sweet kaayo...pero yah...games nlng jud...mao nlay kuwang...hehehe...
