Depende sa imo budget. Starters like you and kung wala kay prob sa kwarta get a 105mm f2.8 VR Micro or kung makakita ka ug 105mm f2.8 na Micro(Non-VR version).

Alternative get a Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro lens mas cheaper siya.

Very 1st and important tip in Macro Photography. "Kinahanlan taas ka ug pasensiya"

When you get a new lens the best gyud would be pareha gyud brand sa imo camera. Kay it will work better with regards to your camera's AF system. Pero most cases some people would buy third party lenses but with exceptional quality kay barato kaayo (ex. Sigma, Tamron, Tokina).

Mao dagway sa Nikon 105 f2.8 Micro Non-VR

Mao ni dagway sa Nikon 105 f2.8 Micro VR

I know that Vitacon makes add on lenses for video cams. Pero in my opinion its like buying a close-up filter and not as good as a dedicated marco lens.

Again its up to you how much your willing to spend.

for cheaper cost, get a reversing ring or extension tube.

yeah, why not try sa ka ug extension tube + reverse ring combo?
medyo barato ra pud if ingon ani... i think extension tubes are 800 pesos then reverse ring is 400~500 pesos?

then imo dayon ibton ang lens para ma-stuck ang blades on the aperture setting. :P

or pwede ra pud ka mag-macro filter bro. pero ingon sila maka-degrade daw kay naay additional
element sa imong lens (i think medyo mahal ang macro filter... sunpak na +10 is 1k+ man guro)

Bai here are some in my opinion advantages and disadvantages using alternatives for a Macro Lens. Its really up to you bai if you want to compromise. Again you will be spending money but eventually try to think if its worth it gyud on what you are trying to achieve.

    Close-up Filter
Advantage: Very cheap and will not take much room in you camera bag. Light metering will automatically take them into account and no adjsutments are required.
Disadvantage: The more you add ontop of the lens adds more optical problems, flare, and distortion. The more powerful the close-up filter the worse the image.

    Macro Coupler Ring
Advantage:Very cheap if you own two lenses and you can use any brand lens as front lens.
Disadvantage:The image will suffer due to extra glass element added. Alot of extensive experiments to get an image you want.

    Extension Tube
Advantage:Cheap and they don't introduce optical distortions.
Disdvantage:: Usahay husslte kaayo sige ilis ug tubes to get an image you want. May use high ISO tungod kay it takes amount of time for the light to travel from the lens through the barrel extension tube and onto the sensor so this may introduce noise.

    Default to sir alucad

to master @alucad_x, regarding "Reverse Ring" i think you are referring to a "Macro coupler Ring".
Kay ang Reverse ring can be use only one lens attach to a body in reverse. Macro coupler Ring required 2 lens to attach 1 in the body and 1 attach in the front of the 1st lens in reverse.

    thanks.
