Does anyone here have experienced combining these two networking gadgets with a fixed IP internet connection? And encountered a problem? Please share someone...
before setting the router, ang modem sa gamita connected sa lan sa imo PC, go to run type CMD, then type IPCONFIG /ALL
imo ni i print or write down the IP Add, Subnet mAsk, default gateway, Static DNS
imo lang i change ang local IP sa imo linksys router, kay ang default local IP sa modem is 192.168.1.1 and sa linksys local IP is 192.168.1.1 change it to something like this 192.168.100.1... pra dili maglibog imo internet connection... imo dayon ekey in sa static IP imo nakuha sa IPCONFIG

by the way, nakasulay pod diay ka ani nga modem combined a this kind of router? naa ka na encountered nga problem bro?
la mn ko kasuway kanang parehas sa imoha nga setup....
pero akong set up is like this
Zyxel DSL modem series 600 connected to Linksys WRT54GC wireless router
Zyxel Local IP ..................... 192.168.1.1 .........default (ISP configured)
Linksys wireless router local IP 192.168.100.1 .......configured by me
I think this kind of configuration is applicable to all setup like this, any kind of router

ang use sa ako AVR pra lng sa PC, LCD, ug printer kay 110V mn

ah naa ko mindanao bay chip, last year ko wala sa pinas.... pero i suggest sa cebu UPS with surge protector, pero kung di kaya AVR na mahalon sad, kay ang mga baratohon simple circuit lng mn na siya pero ok na japon for flactuations
