Raptor X is like 350 bucks for 150GB,... datz a grip,....

i already 1 Raptor 74GB for my OS,..... i think datz all i need,... if i had a grip of money i would of went "outta control" with a few HITACHI Deskstar 7K500 or a few RAPTOR X 150GB,......
da reason why i got this "Maxtor Ultra SATA 16" 300GB coz it was on sale for 100 bucks,...
Maxtor is not my 1st choice on HDD,.... i would of choosen a Seagate or WD over it,..... but i need'd more space and it was on sale for 100 bucks,...... i think its a good buy,....

hmm $100 for a 300GB ? since i bought my WD250GB SATA for 4,950 i guess its a pretty good deal since i would have to add around 700~ 1000 to get it to 300GB. I personally dont like maxtor and will never return to using maxtor again. had a really bad personal experience with that brand and i would not really define getting a Raptor X 150 x2 out of control.

by the way why did you opt for a 512x2 when you could have gotten a G.skill 1GB x2 for the same amout of overclock if you ever do overlock.. and i have a feeling in the near future ur gonna get a Dell 3007WFP =D

i dint realy hear anything bout the G.Skill when i start'dÂ* building / buying parts for my comp. early - mid of last year
but i was thinkin' bout getting a GEIL,.... i forgot wat model it was but im sure it was the that had a tight timing stock,.... (the one dat had a chrome or stainless steelÂ* look heat speader),..... at that time it was still a grip,..... so i went with da "Mushkin XP3500 RedLine (512x2)" for $174.99,.... i want'd the XP4000 RedLine but it was like $250 or somewhere around there,.....
the XP3500 had realy good ratings next to XP4000,....

i am thinkin' bout changing my RAM to PC4000 or above,..... but im still debating coz AMD is gonna go DDR2,......

ay EarlZ i did think about getting a Dell LCD monitor but at dat time i was building my comp. they only had da 2405FPW but dat was to small for me,.... i want'd 26" and up,.....and da Apple 30" Cinema Display was $3,000 at dat point,.... so it was out of reach,....
i just found out from u dat Dell had a 30" LCD,..... and itz only $1,640,..... it suck's knowing dat,... coz i got my Sharp AQUOS LC-26GA5U for $1,500 + $400 for 4 year warranty,..... the total came out about $2,100
but as of right now,..... i aint gotz no prob. wit my Sharp AQUOS LC-26GA5U (26" widescreen LCD),.. gaming and text image is clean and crisp,..... i have no complaints,.....

ay jordinho,..... my main plan when i bought this table is to put my monitor and casing on top of the desk,...... just for da looks of it,.... but ur right i think its gonna look cleaner if i put it on da bottom,....... and the good thing about it is,... it has stand on the bottom for the computer,...... so i might just do it,.... thanks for da advice
