play both the games, torch light is nice.. but dragon age is another kind of rpg game.

Hellgate London was created by Bill Roper also a former blizzard employee the one who lead starcraft creation! and more other blizzard employee's.

It seems without blizzard entertainment is like a college course for programmers/coders and in the future to make your own company.

sadly, ang blizzard merged by activision mura na sad sila ug "cash cow", releasing 2 separate expansions for starcraft 2, no LAN support and whats next? can't play without accessing the internet?

as for torchlight, hopefully daghan maka discover ani na game ( i played the demo through steam client). lingaw bya gyud!hehehe i was hoping for a boxed (retail)edition pero ingon sa official site, by next year daw murag naay boxed copy sa torchlight maau unta if compiled ni with the multiplayer edition of torchlight.

They are not cash cows, and there is LAN in starcraft 2 but it requires internet connection para mo verify if you have original validated copy or not, If i was in charge of a gaming company i would do the same thing, Piracy kills your business, sooner or later can cause your bankruptcy. Sadly most people here buy pirated.. don't blame the gaming company because you can't afford the game. Go Work, make money, buy the game.

It's like Starcraft 2 Menu Screen -> Click Battle.net -> *Verifying Authenticated Copy* -> and more categories come out

Aren't you happy they are planning for 2 more expansion for Starcraft 2 IN THE FUTURE? ISN'T THAT WHAT EVERYONE WANTS? I remembered when people whined at blizzard for releasing only 1 expansion for starcraft 1! Everyone should be happy, and not be sad.

Remember this is BLIZZARD not EA GAMES, they don't release expansions with little features like what EA Games does.

"IF" blizzard didn't announce any expansions for Starcraft II results in people getting angry at blizzard, because they want more content, maps, units, features!
"IF" blizzard announces 2 expansions for Starcraft II for the future results in people saying blizzard is money hungry lol.

Does that even make sense ? Isn't it great to know we will have 2 more expansions in Starcraft II's future?

SIGH all i can say /facepalm.

If you want cash cows go poke at EA, #1 cash cow, making Sequels of any games with only little new features, a tiny touch of new models and *poof*

Also Modern Warfare 2 right now requires Internet connection if you want to play LAN/Multiplayer.

One Last thing, people who play DOTA thinks Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne is FREE, which is not true, outside of the philippines people play on battle.net and they pay $30 for warcraft 3 battle chest to play online.

Philippines is so piracy dependent, its also one of the problems why we have economic problems.
I wish people will learn to be honest.

oo that's the sad truth about business. everything can either be copied, pirated, imitated. pero developers/publishers also tried to counter piracy by ripping off popular features of the game (MW2 dedicated servers anyone?), or adding DRM features to limit installs per machine, or requiring online activations. ang wala lang nako ganahi kay ang popular titles pa gyud ang na affected..

now about the "cash cow" thing.hehehe i'm not pointing EA or Activision or UBIsoft is a cash cow because all of them are "cash cows"! if u notice actvision, tony hawk 1,2 3, THUG, THUG2, guitar hero 1,2,3, aerosmith, metallica, etc. now DJ Hero what next, blah blah blah hero.hehehehe then Call of Duty 1, 2, 3, World at War, Big Red One, Modern Warfare 4, Modern Warfare 2, and so on..heheheh
and for EA, di nako ma mention kay super broad kaau ila titles. My point is activision used too much of their extremely popular TITLES that they create so many spin offs and sequels just like EA. later remove some of its features because of piracy. i'm thinking activision might be following EA or the next EA. and i'm really concerned about it labi na sa acti - blizzard merger.

well starcraft 2 with two expansions maybe good or bad but para sa ako, like any blizzard game, one expansion is enough. its true it may expand the "value" of the title but as a gamer/player, i have to change my strategy for every new unit or structure added in each expansion. pero what if no new units are added, just maps or stories are added, that returns me to my cash cow theory, again.hehehe acti-blizzard milking the franchise..

as for stacraft 2 with lan support, i no longer follow the news of it pero last i heard they removed lan support for the game.. im not entirely sure.
