Why is oil (gas/diesel) price per liter is 10 pesos more expensive in visayas?

Hi i have noticed that oil prices in manila is around php35+ per liter and here its php45+ (in dumaguete) this is for gasoline and while diesel is around 27+ in manila and 36+ in dumaguete.

Can any1 share their knowledge to why this is so?

and another thing are we having oil price freeze here in visayas? or only in Metro Manila?

Maybe Visayas lacks depots and refineries. In Mindanao the cheapest gasoline is found in Iligan City, followed by Cagayan de Oro and Davao cities. THe most expensive is in Surigao del Sur. There are lots of depots, and refineries, I am not sure about the latter though.

Hi we have 3 depots here in Negros oriental am not sure bout cebu thou . If its the cost of importation or bringing/transporting the gas to different cities 10pesos per liter is still too much.. hmmm .. can't really understand why..If we get our gas from Davao its not that far from visayas and am sure the transporting of gas would not really cost so much come to think of it

recently wala daw tay labot sa price freeze kay sa Luzon ra daw gi implement..
pero big reason jud ang transportation cost... dili pud bya sayon mag transport ug gas labi na kung sa dagat i agi..
