    @ GWYN .... hehehe .... ikaw gusto ka mo largo nata sa MAIN COURSE area ? ANyways naay question si mommy MEGANDA regarding cocktail auces . Cocktail sauces are definitely a sure fire way of a good shrimp appetizer .


    @ MEGANDA .... wala koy the best ne style mohimo ug COCKTAIL SAUCE but I do can make one in 2 minutes hehehe .... isagul lang ang CATSUP ( 3 parts ) and HORSERADISH ( 1 part ) and VOILA !!

    @springfield.....ngee di oi gusto ko discuss fully ang topic before go to the next aron di ambak2....i agreed with your point...pero i thought namingaw na ang appetizer discussion mao to...he he he sori po....kadalia-n jud nako...may gani ask si meganda question.....

    ako sauces simple lang....kon dimsum...i serve ponzu (japanese citrus soy sauce) as dip ...nya for fried stuff ...naa ko pirmi sweet and sour thai sauce....nya depende sa appetizers nga gi serve...usahay ang accompanying dip would be nampla (thai fish sauce) with sliced chili.....

    @ MEGANDA ... obviously a COCKTAIL SAUCE is meant for COCKTAIL SHRIMP so mao to hehehe . Wala pa ko naka sulay ug kana na sauce nimo for fries etc .

    @ GWYN ... maong idol kaau tika kay ikaw ang sauce expert !!

    Anyways , mao ni akong combo sa appetizers and the sauces what I think goes with according to my tatse buds and some are from popular demands na lang .

    SPRINGROLLS - sweet and spicy sauce
    FRENCH FRIES - mayo and catsup mixed together hehe
    SEASONED FRIES - ranch dressing
    BUFFALO WINGS - ranch , honey mustard dressings
    FRIED ZUCCHINI - balsamic vinegar w/ poppyseed dressing


    BTW .... para nako , anything deepfried na appetizers , you wont go wrong sa RANCH DRESSING gyud .

    just wanna update you guys on a new school opening in ortigas this school has been talked about a lot lately. Enderun it's affiliated with les roches. they offer Bachelor's Degree in International Hospitality Management (BS-IHM) major in culinary arts. problem is its 4 yrs and USD5k per year. aside from other fees. that alone is tuition lang. a set of their 3 uniforms would cost 12k plus their knife 18k and wala pa labot scarf and pin and etc. but boy nice advertisement

    ahm another new school opening is AHA (american hospitality academy) theirs is only 6 months with 6 mos- 1 yr externship abroad. dunno yet how much but heard that you will be able to earn what you will spend during ur externship


    and as of now not including the 2 above so far ive heard na iscahm is the best. its better than cca actually. cca's program has deteriorated. nangawala na ila good chefs. and oh iscahm's tuition has increased by 20k and their its now 1yr 2 mos instead of 12 mos since they have 2 mos OJT na
