3. pink floyd - one of the first underground, experimental band that goes mainstream....... with a record breaking "Dark Side of the Moon " that went into Billboard charts for 15 years........wooooooow, quite possibly the worlds greatest band ever in my opinion.....

1. John Mayall with Eric Clapton - "Blues Breakers" album : Arguably the world's greatest blues album. Clapton introduced the ever famous Gibson (guitar) and marshall (amp) combination to the world which has been copied by so many guitarists. Joe Perry of Aerosmith; Slash of GN'R, to name a few. (BLUES)
2. The Beatles: No need to expound further... They gave rock n roll a new meaning. (Rock N Roll)
3. Black Sabbath- The godfathers of metal. Without them, Metallica wouldn't sound like Metallica. (Metal)

kalimot ko sa Yardbirds, kung walay yardbirds, walay led zep........eric clapton was also a yardbirds, and so does jeff beck and Jimmy page............

@ tahbiapo: I'm also into Allman Bros. Band, the original line up with Duanne Allman. "Live at Fillmore East" is my alltime fave blues jam.
