update:
chanced upon the good ex-singers of drifters bar performing at Serena Beach Resort (invited by owner kay bday sa anak). theyre now 4 in the group (3 guitar wielding men, 1 girl) and all of them sing! they told me they play at 'Big Brown' wednesdays and saturdays. so I went to check them out. good! 1st set usually a bit fast & pop, 2nd set on the country/folk genre, 3rd set acoustic.
btw, Big Brown is a new dainty little resto (singers play outside of the resto near the stairs) in a new mall over at pagsabungan or canduman in Mandaue. imnanan area are tables covered with big umbrellas or tents in a big vacant lot beside the mall. layo2X ra cuz its almost lacion area (take a left fr hiway just before the overpass. mrag H Abellana tingali na. going home I even went circling towards Talamban and headed for banilad
lastly, the group doesn't seem to have a name yet and on other days, they have their own separate gigs either solo or w/ other mates. one of them does badger's bar on fridays

cesski, its somewhere near/beyond/after isuzu mandaue (I think) if you're coming from the north hiway. its a small/new mall/square the likes of raintree or even smaller. right side if you're on that road going to canduman from the hiway. most of the 2F units are even still unoccupied. sorry wasn't able to get mall's name
