    Default DX11 vs DX10 vs DX 9 *PICS*


    So I just wanted a good visual comparison of the two.
    So I took some snappies in Unigine Benchmarks.
    Here ya go.

    I ran the test in 1920x1080 with 8xAA

    biggest difference i see is the roof and the road, think of it as bluray, more polygons

    Whether or not the pathway is practical or realistic is not the point. The point is how beautifully it's rendered.

    Dear everyone: for the last time (hopefully): whether or not the pathway is practical is not the point. The point is how beautifully it is rendered. If you're judging it based on whether or not it would be a good pathway to use, then you are totally missing the point!

    I apologize, but I am so tired of seeing comments about the pathway being impractical. It does not matter whether or not the pathway is practical or useful or functional. All that matters is how beautifully it is rendered.

    ang nvidia ba, dili najud cla mohimo og mga high end vcards? i was hpoing pa namn na magrelease napud cila sa Geforce 11 nga naay DX11...

    more of eyecandy gihapon. roofs, roads.. pwede sad unya ani "armor nga mag burot".

    do you guys think dx11 is better than physx?

    sa akong na observe sa DRAGON Picture

    DX11 ---> you ca observe that the roof tiles are more detailed... naay unud
    the dragon's horns are more visible..
    the stairs have depth

    DX10 ---> opossite sa akong ki sulti above

    The ROAD example to show DX11's prowess is LAME. Who would want to walk or ride a wagon on that type of road? It's a bad example and they could have used a stone fence or something.The DX9 picture of the road sense in real world. DX11 really makes a big difference on that Dragon picture by making it looked more fierce and cunning.

    Is it too much to ask for a graphics card that has both Physix and DX11 support?

    I talked to andz last night about this and we both have the same comments of the differences in the pics. More polygons per object (like the stones in the road in DX11) can easily be achieved in DX10 only that we have lots of lazy ludo developers/3d modellers to harness it.

    You can't compare the two. physx is a physics engine. dx11 is the backend of all graphics related stuff.

    DX11 with PhysX? go ask nvidia.
    DX11 with PhysX with ATI ? go ask nvidia.

    Nvidia doesn't like DX11 that is fact.
