    Question Estimated mall rental rates

    Kumusta?

I am in a fact finding phase at this point. I would like to get an estimate on what the monthly rate will be for renting space at the local malls. I prefer Ayala, but if you rates for SM or similar malls, then I'm curious.

I would also like to know if malls in Cebu typically charge a flat, fixed fee or if the rates depend on your monthly gross sales.

    Salamat!

I found an article at MALL RENTAL RATES EXPECTED TO RISE | Article from The Manila Times | HighBeam Research. The article was published in 2007. It stated that rental rates at Ayala Centers rose to P1200 per square meter. A more recent article at http://www.manilastandardtoday.com/2.../business5.htm indicates that rental rates went down to P1100 per square meter, probably due to the economy.

If I put a worst case scenario of P1300 per square meter by next year, then that should give me another factor to the amount of capital that I need.

those shawarma and other food stalls are i think permanent na that's why mahal, di magbalhin balhin.

what i am referring to are those TEMPORARY only, put up to some corner or floor levels in just a few days. Small booth or stalls, mostly they sell pearls, gems, and other fashion accessories. Mao na ang tag P1,500/day.
