about engr. ramil's mate for her 36 inches FTW female harle; naka kita na gyud as of today ug mate ang harle nga 36 inches FTW ug mate taga sto. niño village. owned by a german national. its a GD BLACK. 8 months @ 39 inches(both parents non PH born; just imagine how it grows taller for a stud height). another CSDC member hopefully will co-own or own this male black GD. kay mo largahay ang german national ug balik sa germany.

btw; ang harle nga gd; as per engr ramil; will mate only(supposedly with proper breeding) with BLACK, BOSTON BLACK or MERLE.

i cant tell; im not a GD owner but for a GD enthusiast; i would take the word for it.

mao sad bitaw; ive read in national dog forums about GD's breeding; a lot of it was criticized on color or marking breeding. as far as i've read; harle to harle is not a good combination.

ninduta sa harlequin nga great dane oi! that's also the tallest dog cage i have ever seen.

Ang amuang silingan, naay great dane, pero talawan kaayo. Inig walk kato nga great dane dinhi sa village, dili gud mulabang sa amuang balay ang iro nila. Mahadlok sa amuang cocker spaniel nga nag cge ug aw-aw niya. Mutuyok na lang intawn ang ilang great dane padung uli sa ilaha.

When I was small pa, naa mi great dane sa una. It lived up to 16 years old! Pero grabe kaayo to ka war freak. Weird kay isog kaayo.. nakapa-ak to more than 5 persons. Na subrahan pag ka guard dog.

hi gie, just got home sa CSDC nga acquaintance meet. ubay ubay sad siay cocker spans dire cebu ehehhehe. naa man duha didto ganiha.

about whisky; not training for SCHH, training him hopefully for tracking and sniffing. whisky wala man gud BITE drive on the sleeve.

Yup sakto kaayo ka G! Complex kaayo ang color genetics sa great danes. If not properly paired, dako ang chance sa mismarked pups (merlikins, fawnikins etc) and health problems too.

Ganahan biya ko ug Great Dane! Attached kaayo amo family with our fawn-colored GD named Snoopy. He was meant to be called Scooby (because Scooby doo is a great dane) pero ambot ngano na Snoopy to siya hehe! He was so old that I remember gihatagan to siya ug bone marrow for him to chew on and then na stuck ang duha ka ngipon niya sa bone. Lolo na gyud to siya hehehe!

5 years ago, my brother cge ug encourage nako nga mukuha daw mi tagsa nga Great Dane para naa daw mi tarong nga guard dogs sa amo house sa Manila. (Ako dogs didto kay Dachshund man ug jack russel, pirting gamaya pero sabaan.) That time puro mismarks ang mga pups for sale and I couldn't find a good breeder with available pups.

Mao lagi. The wrong part about this if its misrepresented ang great danes when they sell it. That time I was looking for a great dane pup, I found an ad that was selling GD pups from P15-18k. Nakabutang sa ads nila is "top quality and show potential" daw. So i posted a reply in that ad saying that his pups were mismarked and that they were just pet quality. I know nag hugaw-hugaw ko sa iyahang thread (hehe!) but I was just telling the truth. Suko kaayo ang kato nga breeder sa akua and posted sarcastic remarks. hahaha! Too bad for him dili na ma erase akuang gi reply.

If he wanted to sell it at that price, fine.. iyaha na to discretion. But I found it wrong that he was claiming it as show quality. Luoy pud ang mga mupalit diba. The pics of the dam were mismarked too. So we can just imagine that irresponsible breeding gyud and that will produce more and more mismarked puppies in the future. Ang nakapalit ato nga pups will eventually breed their mismarked danes instead of uplifting the breed standards.

There's nothing wrong with mismarked danes...they are majestic creatures nevertheless! dili lang dapat nila i-claim as show potential, to take advantage of the buyers.

Saludo ko sa mga great dane breeders that aim to produce the right colors. (black, blue, brindle, fawn, harlequin & mantle). Nindut kaayo ni nga breed!
