Yeah, a certain group of Koreans are against it. They even protested against the upcoming movie.
YES, HETALIA WILL HAVE A MOVIE ON 2010.
But i dunno if it'll push through or something. They announced it already though. But it depends cguro if there are any objections or any future problems. I'll post that scanlation of the interview later.
My first reaction to the protests was that i felt bad. (My thoughts: ) But no need to bash the whole country of Korea just because of that, i guess. Some fans did the mistake of bashing them in teh internetz, which is quite immature.. me thinks.
Let's just stay strong, Hetalia fandom!

About Hetalia Day, guys:
Some of us sa LJ decided na mag meet sa gawas sa terraces (entrance/exit) near TGIF and Cafe Laguna, around 12:00-12:30 noon. Tapos ang 30 min kay allowance sa mga late cguro. Para 1:00pm naka gather na ang tanan (so we can all watch Archon together). Activities for Hetalia day are yet to be decided. Although one activity na sure kay pag watch ug Archon together. Oh, and pics2.
Other suggested stuff kay mag picnic sa gawas, or eat together inside. Tapos mag make sad daw ug collage-y/scrapbook style na banner, so everyone can doodle and put stuff they want on the banner.
But that has yet to be agreed and finalized.
