get the 500D. 15mpx, HD video, Digic IV, more.


the only thing i know advantage of 40D is the faster fps of which might not be useful in your part. unless if youre a serious sports photographer.

hmmm i like. this was actually my first choice if to compare with nikon d3000. if you will convince y 1000d is better i might change my mind.

Which one is better?

It depends on what suits you and which camera you're more comfortable with (i.e. settings, placement of buttons, user friendly interface, etc.). Hehe.

To produce excellent looking photos depends on the photographer, not the camera. Hehehe.
