    Pros kung legalized

+ Mandated checkups for prostis para ma monitor mga STD
    + tax collection sa government
+ physical safety for both prostis and clients since naa nay mga standards and regulations.

    Cons kung ma legalized
    - this will piss off the church and conservative people.
    - this will make it more accessible for married men to sleep around (as if they wouldnt do it kung illegal)

    Pros:
the right of the prostitute against violence
    the right of health care
the right of medical/life insurance benefits.
the right to be licensed as any work

i dont see the point why they shoudnt legalize it. are we talking bout dignity here..? now heres what i think.. i mean kung illegal xa as if walay right a prostitute to protect herself/himself sa violence / the right sa mga health benifits and health care just because prostitute cla. i think its unfair...nisulod cla kay wala clay choice we cant change that.. dli man sad ta kapakaon nila dibah.. its like working at a job.. ni work ka kay wala kay choice because you want to earn money. i think mas debatable and kind of this work because we are a catholic country .. we are taught to be people with dignity i understand that... pero i dont understand people who treat prostitutes as a meat as if they can do anything with her/him against her/his will.. i know na low jud ang dignity sa prostitutes pero we cant do anything about it.. best is to legalize it so we can track and protect them from violence...and yeah concerning sa mga married man.. so what.. they like to sleep around and do stuffs like that its always been like that..ang uban naa man gali gi puyo na uyab uyab na dli man gali prostitute....

It is bitter or better to legalized prostitution in our country.

BITTER, dili mo uyon atong mga cardinal

Better, if we look at in a wider perspective mas nindot siya e legalize Why? we can regulate, monitor, control, protect (prostitutes and customer) and most of all they will be given the same treatment compare to a normal employee or self employed individual so to speak they will be enjoying Pag-ibig, Phil. health and SSS benefits.

Sa katong ga ingon na dili cya ma legalize kay tungod it does not complement to our constitution, my friend you are wrong this can be legalize through a Memorandum. We can establish a White Slavery Economic Zone the same as the PEZA na format. DBA!!

Their is no impossible if we will do it.. Ang naka pait lang nato even if their is a separation of state and the church but the politician still rely on their decision sa mga cardinals. Asa namn ang political will ug empowerment.

Sakto ni imo sis... 100% agree.. I am a renewed catholic but westernized na akong pagka catholic pasabot mas open minded na.. Philippines should move forward and I think we are the only country na magpa dominar lang ghapon sa Church. We still live on the traditional views and wrong teaching of corrupt friars before (Follow lang ghapon tang Padre Damaso ani).

The problem here is people argue about MORALITY , SAFETY , BROKEN FAMILIES and STD when in fact , MEN are MEN . Ingna ko ug bakakon . Mas maayo pa ang BURIKAT naka KWARTA ! Ang kabit2 ug sideline2 , TAXI ug MOTEL ra ang puhunan ug short time sa baby o lalaki .

So if anyone can tell me a very good reason why dili siya ma LEGALIZED through proper REGULATION and MONITORING even though we all know it will never happen , please say so . Magpkatotoo na kayo mga KUYA , UYUAN ug TATAY .

Church does not even pay any taxes, so I don't see why they should be allowed to pressure government about this, given that if legalized the prostis will at least be paying taxes, unlike the church which is the ingrata numero uno of the country, which does not pay taxes but stabs the government in the back whenever it feels like it...
