naa koi i suggest ani ai...maypa maghimog demo reel ug short animation in 2d or in 3d ang mga instructors..pakitang gilas sa sa publiko ba..para makita jd ang katag..it's always easy to say...."i can teach you animation"...yes the principles of animation can be learned in a heartbeat..but learning and applying them is a different story..and i qoute..from the book: ILLUSION OF LIFE written by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas...

"...you can learn animation in 2 and a half years but being good at it would take 5 to 6 years..or more"

im not trying say that the UC instructors doesn't know anything but i sure hope they're teaching not just the methods..but also the essence the "magic" that makes the methods breathtaking...and i think they should put a link here for their demo reel..

this looks promising... but yeah.. i agree about the instructors' portfolio. mas inviting man if we know who teaches what.

actually i went to UC main pag monday and tried to enroll.
i have the prospectus (sorry dili lng nako ma scan ky wala nmi scanner. huhu..)
there are some IT subject and some minor subjects like English and Math but the major subjects are named AN112 and the likes.
the course only have 1 schedule. like mura ka block sectioning pero usa ra ka block..no other options/scheds to take ur major subjects in different time slots....except for the minor and IT subjects.
mao na ako problema cuz i am working and really would like to enroll to the course.
nahan ko after office unta.

(well naa mn sa IAFT sa lapulapu though soo grabe expensive..but i think its worth man pud kay IAFT bya)
so mao na...ill try to check sa banilad campus tomorrow if naa sila flexible schedule.

To those who wanted to see the portfolio of the instructors teaching animation. We had an exhibit held last week on saturday and sunday at ayala mall. If your really interested to see the portfolio and instructors, a website will soon be uploaded but its still under construction. I hope all would understand that this is the first course offered in the Cebu and as of the moment we are still recruiting more talented individuals who can teach the specialized subjects offered.

For those who are interested in teaching we are recruiting painting instructors, drawing instructors and 3d instructors. Please bring your resume and portfolio to UC-Main HR.

For the schedules offered by the 3 campuses main, banilad and LM. All 3 campuses are offering different time schedules due to availability of instructors and the location. Lapu-lapu is offering late classes for working professionals.
