here's my input on this:
i could never compare Ebay and Amazon.
first and foremost, Ebay is an auction site. though it has features sad like the buy-it-now and best offer but mainly it's all about BIDDING. you can have the best deal ever if ever you won the auction at a very very low price. it's a risk to a seller though. i, for example, magmata og kadlawn kay mag-atang sa akong i-bid na item, where minutes na lang nahabilin sa bidding anha na magsugod ang excitement. placing your bid at a last second is a thrill most especially if you really really want the item.
now sa Amazon, is just like any other online store. Buy-pay-ship/wait just that.
there's always a risk in online shopping. if i am the kind of buyer na very meticulous, di ko mo buy online. but if you like excitement, then go for it. just trust your instinct. read and read and read then ask and ask and ask.
now re international shipping and custom duties and fees, kung ikaw swertehon P35 ra imong bayran pero malason gani aw expect to pay thousands. walay klaro ang computation sa custom, walay basis kon hain na nila kuhaa ilang percent2x diha.
my example to this is my parcel from China. imagine, plastic beads ray sulod then value of $18, i paid P1,300 then a parcel from US, leatherman multi tool ang sulod $20 ang value, i only paid P35
electronics, ay na lang pag expect barato imong mabayran. pag-andam nalang kay expected mas dako pa imong mabayran sa tax kesa sa presyo sa imong gipalit.
