my mother and father for getting it on that night
@ schmuck: you really are a smartass, aren't you? anyway, what faith do your parents live by?
it's simple common sense, really. you can touch a cellphone, talk on it, slam it against a wall. you can feel, touch, see it because it's there so you know it exist physically. God, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of that. you may argue that you can FEEL his "presence" eventhough you don't see him physically, but what made you think it is a GOD? oh that's right---it's because your mind says so.
@ chadtukes: Even though you were raised as a Roman Catholic, at an early age were you already a non-believer of a Divine Being or something happened that erased RC in your mind?
the big difference between believers and non-believers is that non-believers do good deeds without fear of punishment from an imaginary master; THEY DO GOOD THINGS BECAUSE IT'S THEIR INSTINCTS TO DO GOOD AND THEY FEEL IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO, while believers only do good because of fear that they might get punished by their "GOD" it they do bad things.

@ schmuck: Im filled with curiosity. At what point in your life did you decide to shun away from RC? Is it correct to assume that your parents are totally okay with your non-faith?
@ bluedes: I'm just asking questions, not to try to convince anyone to come to any faith.
