ok. thanks sir. last na lang na question...k rah?
since it depends on the recieving country, do u happen to know the basic requirements?
like for starters, does my dog has to have papers or birth cert(or equivalent to that)?
wala man gud papers ako dog, pero of course naa cyay record sa vet, mao rah.

as i know mam, basic requirement is the health card OR vaccination record. shots should be administered by a licensed vet, with the stickers and the signature and lic number of the vet in the vacc record.

about "pedigree" documentation of dogs; i dont think it is required. since pedigree record or the pedigree certificate just vouches your dog that is pure breed and can be traced back generations of his family tree. so if wala pedigree document imo dog that follows that when youre in the receiving country dili sad na nimo ma transfer ang pedigree document kay all dog clubs of each country would require an existing pedigree certificate to transfer it. so basically the pedigree certificate is NOT required if you will export your dog. since with or without pedigree and dog once it reaches the receiving country it will not cause public harm; or threat in security.

however if ang dog nimo wala vaccination record; that would pose a threat to the receiving country because it could possibly be a carrier of viruses or illness. in which detrimental to the receiving country.

i havent personally experienced shipping a dog inside or outside the country. mao ra ning akong thoughts on the quarantine aspects and on the concern regarding pedigree certificates. maayo naa istoryan who personally experienced this to share with us.

if ever mam; pwede ask sad ninyo sa PPF(philippine pet finder dot com) this question. for sure forumers there can share their personal experience.

the necropsy on the link as stated, died of "hyperthermia" or heartstroke.
if the necropsy is to be based upon; its probably because of inadequate oxygen while in the cargo bay of the cebu pacific flight.

thats what i mentioned right at the very first post of this thread that; though the cargo bay of aircrafts are pressurized its NOT well ventilated.

with flight(airplane); no-no. not unless on the pet airline(no services here in PH yet).

sa barko im not sure with inter island within visayas; pwede ra siguro naa cage(formality sa pier and quarantine) then pag abot sa barko tke it out of the kennel/cage. hangyo lang.

if manila-cebu vice versa; thru super ferry stricto gyud ang mga crew about pets/dogs.
