AKRHO members charged for murder

CEBU, Philippines - Murder charges were filed in court against two members of Alpha Kappa Rho who allegedly killed a 14-year-old girl in barangay Duljo-Fatima last November 2008.

The Cebu City Prosecutors’ Office elevated the charges against Franco Obiso alias Frat/Insik and Noel “Okloy” Barao before the Regional Trial Court, after finding probable cause to indict the two.

The prosecutor’s office issued its resolution after the two accused failed to submit their counter-affidavit despite a subpoena.

A 17-year-old witness had pointed to Obiso and Barao as the ones on board a bicycle and responsible for shooting Piechen Secretaria at around 3am on November 30, 2008.

The witness said he and several other friends were actually with the victim at that time when the accused fired at them several times and hit Secretaria. The witness, himself, sustained gunshot wounds on the upper left arm and left armpit.

Secretaria died at the Cebu City Medical Center hours after they were rushed to the hospital.

The witness said that prior to the shooting, a member of their group got into trouble with the group of the accused during a dance, also in barangay Duljo-Fatima. on my side. fraternity is good, but what makes it bad is the members, we have a group consist of at least 30 members, we are the core group. We made it to a point that if ever we will recruit or somebody interested to join a group we make sure that hes not a trouble maker..but we respond if there is a need to deffend our members violently,,promise..

No offense mga akp ug tgp diri ha naa pud ko mg amigo sa duha ka frat way back college we do inoman and laag before,,but some of your members labi na kato sa probinsya kay na misunderstood ang fraternity. Maigo lang gamay away dayon. Abi membro sila ani na frat murag dili na mahadlok ba isog kaayo..maski sila ang sayop mayo nalang mga agaw nako ang uban so madala ra ug badlong.

Pro kato ako mg amigo diri sa cebu before ok raman wala man problema,,laag mi kuyog akp ug tgp ug bitagamians man yata to din ako pud,wala jud blema ,but kato ng start na ila away ila nalang ko gipalayo..kay basin ma alaan ko,,
