    treatment for this condition:
IR or infrared radiation to promote circulation ( if medyo tight sa budget pra therapy, let her apply labakara humol init tubig )
    Massage ( against gravity )
    PNF technique

Hi, im a p.t. what we usually do with bell palsy cases, we stimulate the c.n nerves as well as exercise the muscles of the face. As for home remedy...e warm compress lang ang affected side for 10 to 20 min. then massage the area for 20 min, then buhata ni for 3 days, after which e add na ang exercises like..opening of mouth..mouth side to side, chewing, sipping on a straw, then progress ka to blowing of balloon if makakita naka ug improvement. hope that helps.

pa check-up sa neurologist. it's better maexamine ug doctor nga kamao coz there is a grading for severity for bell's palsy which will guide treatment aggressiveness. physical therapy may or may not be helpful. prednisone or prednisolone as early therapy with or without acyclovir. of course, everything depends on the physical examination. other diagnostics are only warranted if one suspects a secondary cause for the 7th nerve palsy. most will recover fully after a few weeks especially children.
