Guys... some doctors would say as early as 3-4 weeks after fertilization occurs, the heart of the baby starts to beat. For me as a health worker, I strongly oppose abortion for I believe that each creation has the right to have a chance to be alive even if it is not planned.
HA?? Di na baby ang fetus?? Unsa man diay na?Diin man ka ana nga ang fetus dili baby. At the time of conception kinabuhi na na woi. That's already your flesh and blood. Walay regrets? Kana kung pareha nimo ug huna2x ang uban babaye. Aw kinsa ba gud ganahan mag tan-aw ug bata nga bulingit. That's already the responsibility of the parents, to take care of their children pero ug irresponsable ang ginikanan labi pa ang inahan, aw siyempre ingon ana gyud mahitabo.WA TAY MAHIMS kay ilaha man pud na.

unsa man dyud basabot sa bill ba....akong pagsabot kay dili man tingali all about abortion as what this guyz mention....
Grabe kaayo ang defend sa "rights" sa unborn child. What about ang inherent right of choice sa usa ka babaye? ang inherent right of choice sa usa ka lalaki? in defense of the rights of the "unborn child", tumban ang inherent rights sa individuals? Daghan kaayo mga self appointed guardians of "morality". nganung di man pasagdaan ang isig ka usa sa pag-gamit sa ilang mga utok. tutal ila manang body, ilang mind, ilang life.
Kindly provide proof that the newly-conceived person does not have a soul. Do you have a soul detector?
There is no logical or scientific reason why at some point AFTER FERTILIZATION the embryo (or later the fetus) should suddenly become human. It is a human being from the moment of conception, at the moment of fertilization. At that point it has all the 46 chromosomes that determine every physical aspect of the person. Everything else that happens afterwards is just a later stage in development. But a human being doesn't develop from a cat or dog. Therefore the fertilized egg is human. It is only smaller and at an earlier stage of development as the rest of us.
By the way, even persons who have been born are still developing. If you think the fertilized egg isn't human, then what makes a baby human? The idea that the fertilized egg is not a human person is absurd and irrational.
Your "inherent rights" end where another person's rights begin. You can choose to do what you like with your own life, but not at the expense of someone else's life. The unborn child has rights that cannot be violated for your conveniece, just as you have rights that cannot be violated for another person's convenience.Originally Posted by moving
If you justify killing an innocent unborn child so you can enjoy your alleged rights, then anyone can kill you so they can enjoy their alleged rights as well. That will lead to chaos.

Pro-Life Youth Congress 2009
Citing the various pursuits to promote alternative lifestyles, being pro-life had become obscured, irrelevant and sometimes labeled as a misnomer. Most people, especially the youth, are clueless of what being pro-life is. This scenario is very unfortunate considering the vast potentials of the young people to imbibe and promote a culture of life.
We at Pro-Life Philippines Foundation highly believe that it’s never too late to educate, encourage and inspire the youth to live the “pro-life way of life.” In line with this, we would like to invite your organization to participate in the upcoming PROLIFE YOUTH CONGRESS slated this October 24, Saturday, at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Amphitheater, Quezon City. The event will commence at 2:00 PM.

No Cebu event for this yet. Last September 19, however, there was the UNASHZAMED Purity Conference held at ther Waterfront Hotel in Lahug. Hundreds of youth participated.
We in Cebu can also participate in the Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity though. That will be on October 20, 2009. The text of the flyer for the event is below. If you wish, you can print it out and give it to your friends.
Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity (10-20-09)
http://www.phnix.net/phils_flyer_silent_day_2009.pdf
About 750,000 babies die in the Philippines every year because of voluntary abortion. The voices of these babies will never be heard on earth.
All over the world, approximately 4,792 unborn babies lose their voice every hour! That's 115,000 every day; 42 million every year!
These are not merely statistics; these are human lives; silenced as the result of the choice their mothers, and fathers, made.
We have chosen to be silent today in solidarity with the millions of babies silenced through abortion and the use of contraceptives.
Join us. Lose your voice for a day. These babies have lost their voices forever.
October 20 (Tuesday), Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity; a world-wide event.
This event only consists of keeping silent for one day in solidarity with the silent voices of the unborn. In the Philippines, we suggest the wearing of red bandanas to cover the of lower part of the faces of participants. You may also wear red armbands with the words “Pro-Life Day of Silence” or some similar text to mark yourselves as participants in the “Pro-Life Silent Day.
You don't actually have to be totally silent. Sometimes, people ask questions and the participants answer. The U.S. organization has stories where such conversations have led women who were considering abortions to change their minds after being informed of the consequences of their possible actions.
Participants who go to class can join in class discussions, but should refrain from speaking when outside the classroom. People at work can limit their non-work related speaking conversations.
Though probably very difficult for most people, the campaign could include doing away with texting or e-mailing for non-essential matters. This may reach more people than with simple physical appearance. These actions are, of course, voluntary.
Participants would also be encouraged to distribute this and other flyers explaining the Silent Day event. This action will also help minimize their having to speak.
May God bless you!
