Update.
Dream Satellite stopped having signal disruption problems (at least in my location) last Tuesday Feb. 24, 2003.
It's been dandy since then.
Dream has lowered their prices for their satellite equipment.

yen, read the first page of http://www.pinoydvd.com/yabbse/index...;threadid=1455 . It seems that one need satellite receiver for each tv or else each tv connected to a splitter would all show the same channel.
I know that, warfab. I read through the pinoydvd thread before I purchased.
If you want more than one tv connected, yes, you will have to get a receiver for every tv set. I was the only one in my family who could no longer stand missing AXN shows so I'm the only one who has Dream Sat.
Before you think I'm being greedy or something, I am the one who paid for the equipment & for the monthly. I'm paying for it... Darn it. We shouldn't have let Cebu Cable go bankrupt.
If only I could watch separate channels on different tvs using the same receiver, I'd definitely switch...
I'll check how much (just the) receiver cost & if each receiver has to have its own SmartCard.
Also, I used Dream's text service to pay for the monthly. I was impressed. Very quick & convenient.
Pa-confirm lang... Does it have Animax?
Yes, Dream has Animax. It's channel 48.
