Microsoft Security Essentials - the FREE antivirus

guys,just wanted to share this to all istoryans..

microsoft recently released their FINAL version of security essentials, and its FREE to all "genuine" windows OS users (windows xp,windows vista 32/64bit,windows 7 32/64bit)..

the only requirement is that your OS should be "genuine"..

i've been using it for a week na (tested it before sharing kay mauwaw ta kung walay ayo unya akong gi-share..hehe) and ok man siya..don't expect you'll get the best,but atleast it was made by a reputable company and its FREE..

What can you expect on a free AV?

I've been using MSE since it's beta days and it's really not that bad. Very small footprint as well. Let's face it, even the paid ones don't pick up every type of virus/malware out there.

At the end of the day folks, no anti-virus/security software can guarantee you a 100% protection. Just use a bit of common sense and you'll be fine on your journey through the interwebs.
