cheap airline
It looks like it’s not summer anymore because it rains almost everyday since last week. But don’t let the rains dampen your plans to explore our country or beyond. Cebu Pacific Air offers what it calls an all-out sale for the rainy season months of June, July and August for as low as 249 pesos one-way fare for certain domestic destinations and as low as 599 pesos for some international destinations. The seat sale is available from all of the airline hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao starting today until April 30 only. Tickets on sale with these promotional prices are valid for travel from June 1 to August 31, 2009.
I haven’t checked yet the full details of this sale whether all destinations are included in this promotion, just go to cebupaficair.com to find out for yourself.
tapos naman ni.. or next year pa?? hehe
twice ra ko ka xperience ug delay wd d whole time nga cge ko sakay ug ceb pac. mla-cbu same sked p gyud....the rest are ok n on time ra man pud.
They posted a 90.1% on-time performance (OTP) for August. I wonder what the September stat will be with the weather delays (particularly in the wake of "Ondoy") and air traffic control capability downgrade in Manila. I'm pretty sure their OTP will take a hit, but it won't necessarily be the airline's fault.
grabeh jud ka hasol.. it took me a day para makapabook ug flight.. wala pa jud confirmation til now..
first I went to rsb kay mao man ako form of payment unta, then ang rsb offline sila the whole day due to the typhoon in manila. ila server kay sa manila man daw so affected sad diri sa cebu.. well, that's what they said.. i kept on calling them until hapon nalang magclose nalang ang bank, wala pa gihapon na online balik.. i went to cebu pacific main office sa robi, dili jud sila mosugot or modawat ug payment didto if nagbook ka online, awa ra ug unsa kahasol.. kay if naghuna huna jud sila sa convenience sa ila customers, modawat nalang unta sila ug payment didto. mao ra man gihapon storyaa, bayad ra man gihapon na..
wala na pud ra ba ko atoy lain choice, maayo unta ug sala to nako nga na offline ang rsb. and if you book online, they will just give you 24 hours to process the payment.. and then i tried their ticketing office sa emall, grabeh naa pa jud silay charge nga 100/person one way ra na ha!.. so mobayad kog 400 para lang maprocess ang akong payment since 2 man mi kabuok and roundtrip pud na ticket. so i have no choice but to rebook my flight.. karon pag rebook na dili wala nay available na flight ato akong giselect unta na dates.. haaay.. balik na pud kog pangita kanus.a naay available flight and decided to pay it thru bdo.. hasol kaayo kay sa ilang site wala jud didto gibutang ang confirmation number kato rang 6 alpha numeric dili pa jud dawaton sa bdo.. i went back to their ticketing office kay mag.ask lang unta ko sa akong confirmation number since sa emall ra man pud ko nagbayad, gingnan ra ko atong girl nga agent sa cebu pacific nga dili daw nila ma pull up ang information, kay tigdawat ra daw sila ug payment didto. they should've enough information to provide their customers better service. maldita pa jud kaayo ang girl klaro kaayong ga dali mahuman ilang shift. so, nibalik na pud ko sa ilang main office nga perteng daghana ug taw then nangayo atong confirmation number since ilang hotline, dili jud macontact..
right after nakuha nako akong confirmation number, nidretso na dayon ko sa bdo.. grabe jud pagstruggle kay nagstart ko ug process lang sa payment kay 10am nahuman nako ug 6pm.. ingon ana ka stressful ang pag pabook ug flight sa cebu pacific..
on the way 2 Manila kay 10 mins ahead sa scheduled departure...then pag uli nag abot ang pasahero bound for cebu ug sa lain ky dghan flights na delayed....we had to transfer from one boarding gate to the other two boarding gates..wow! as in pinakaubos pa jud mi gipaagi..but glad ako ra usa sa akong seat...hehehehe! on time ra man sad naabot nuon
I wish to fly there back anytym soon.....

There, there. Please be reminded that the flights you are talking about are their crazy Php 1 fare. I experienced the same difficulty that you did but I guess i lowered my expectations already. When we first received the SMS regarding the promo we were immediately glued to their site but sadly by then their servers were already crawling. I thought I would successful book a Hongkong flight and got the same 6 alphanumeric characters that but I got skeptical when I trooped to BDO, since I remembered from a previous flight that you can only use the 14 digit confirmation code. I should have checked my email first. Bottom line, I missed the chance of heading to HK.
I tried the following day knowing the issues will be the same. I actually tried Visa Electron cards but sadly they always get an error. Get this: after pressing continue on their site you will wait minutes before the next page shows up. And even if you complete the process, there is still the chance that you won't get 14-digit confirmation code in your email. Thankfully after several tries, i ended up booking flights to Singapore via Clark at a later date. I was anxious that my payments won't get accepted since I paid Oct 31 which is a Saturday, but I received my itinerary the next day. Whew.
Again, this is a special case. If it was a regular flight with no promos like this their online transactions are not a hassle at all. Take note that they are the only airline that gives passengers other options to pay for their flight bookings. If I have issues with their promos it is the fact that not everyone who gets their tickets read labels about baggage allowances or punctuality and they don't remember common etiquette. On my recent flight to manila it took a while for our plane to make its final preparations for takeoff though it seemed all guests were in the plane. Then I noticed two passengers who were later asked to get back their baggages and exited the plane. After a few minutes, two new individuals got in. I figured the first two were chance passengers while the the new ones were late. There were even those who always turn on their cellphones when the plane just landed or those who would stand up before the fasten light is off.
Hopefully Cebu Pacific gets to add more servers to anticipate demand especially if they are planning to have more promos in the future. At the same time I hope everyone learns some manners. Having a plane ticket is still somewhat a privilege, but it does not mean you act like a prince every time you are headed to the airport.
