    i'd call it confidence
    --- confidence + uncertainty = faith

creationists would rather have an "answer" with absolutely NO SUPPORT then to have to do some work and find out for ourselves. laziness? hmmm...

oh em gee... sorry kebs, i won't ever be a creationist. kebot thinks i'm too good so he wants to recruit me to his camp. sorry kebs, i'm too valuable for that.

ID is a claim of creationists to support the literal/biblical fiats of creation. The use of the term is more of a packaging with some adornments of alleged scientific backing (although mostly unproven) to appeal to the everyday joe.

Theistic evolution (for which I am also among the subscribers) holds that the theist's acceptance of evolutionary biology is not fundamentally different from the acceptance of other sciences. Boldly speaking, it also begins with a methodological assumption of naturalism to study and explain the natural world, without yet assuming the existence or nonexistence of the supernatural. What bridges the science of evolution and the belief that someone is responsible for it (evolution) can only be explained philosophically through teleology (study of design and purpose). Here, we believe all things are designed for or directed toward a final result -- that there is an inherent purpose or final cause for all that exists.

    although mostly unproven
--- science cannot test god. its just a limitation. Mostly unproven, well they were written 2000 years ago, and we had the opportunity to affirm it, and yes we did... by the way there was no science at that time... how did they know? how can they claim such bold ideas...

If you also check my posts you will find that I had posted previously; that I had quite biology, stopped working for NASA and choose to start my own business focusing on botany. Post#481 while responding to "Maiic" and Post#747 responding to one of your Post. So where have I lied to you? And what gives you the right to call me a lier?

I love how you are quick to call other people a lier. I hear do not insult a Philippine male he may get his little feelings hurt, But I get routinely insulted on this forum. Sorry but were I come from you call a man a lier that is like sticking up your middle finger in his face. I guess you people here in the Philippines have so many people lie, that you no longer understand the concept of honor and respect. Truth is how a man is measured, it is all he has, it is all a man can truly take to his grave. Do not make the mistake of thinking you are worthy enough that someone has to try to impress you. You are in your very early 20's and in 30 years you should hopeful live a full and productive life. See how you like it when some young punk who so far has not done anything significant, calls you a lier on things that you have lived. See if you are as polite as me, somehow I doubt it. Sorry I have lead such a full and productive life, see if you can retire for life on your 50th birthday. You have less than 30 years better get started.
