well... maka imagine ko kulang jud ang 10T kun didto ka ni alvin or piper. filter daan baligyaan ka ug eheim filter which would cost you 6 to 8k and problably some branded imported salt which is gonna cost you an arm and a leg and don't forget the special lights which you wont need if youre gonna go fish only.

do some research before you get ripped off at the petshops.

*I don't think there's anything wrong with getting seawater off the beaches... didto lang sa limpyo limpyo nga beach.. ayaw lang sab sa pier.

marine fishes are very cheap if you get them at cordova or mactan. daghan man nemo ug dory diri cebu.

sturya mi ni alvin about marine wa man ko niya baligya-i ug eheim ug special lights ingon sya nga dili daw na kailangan kung fish only.

marine fish... kaon man sab mo ana.. lapulapu and etc.... matay ra man gihapon na sila. heehhee

    quoted from another forum:

"The exportation of wild-caught cardinal tetras from the Rio Negro (Brazil), is actually helping the local ecosystems and people. Instead of cutting down trees, mining, and ranching, locals harvest these fishes. Cardinals (in the wild) are annuals, meaning that the adults die off every year, that and their extreme numbers make the current ornamental fishery sustainable. The fishing season correlates with their life cycle, (after they breed), so it surprisingly dosen't affect the ecosystem much. Plus, the flooded forest where the cardinal lives is too shallow for anything but canoes and people with hand nets, which prevents mass collecting. This is the work of Project Piaba (slogan: "Buy a Fish, Save a Tree"), a conservation group in Brazil (www.angelfire.com/pq/piaba), I am going to the Amazon with them in January.

To boycott these fishes would be to persuade the Brazilians to find more lucrative means of income (timer harvest, strip mining, cattle ranching, slash and burn farming, illegal wildlife trade, etc.)."

I have a friend who works at an exporter of marine aquarium fishes.. dili man daw sila mupalit ug cyanide caught. they buy from gatherers nga mugamit jud ug nets. I'm no expert but aquarium hobbyists are the least of worries of the depleting marine resources.. kanang makaon nga isda mao ang dako nga impact.
