Because USC was the first to have a PSYCHOLOGY Course and Experimental Lab in the Visayas and Mindanao and the professors before were Germans led by Fr. Goertz, SVD. Today, USC Psyc department is getting better and better!

m not a psych major, but FYI sa mga psych majors, Fr. Goertz academic lineage can be traced back to Wilhelm WUndt. and one of Fr. Goertz students is DR. Gerong, the former chair of the dept. that is why we were one of the first to establish an experimental laboratory in the philippines. mas una pa ta sa mga taga "Ateneo.
