okay, maybe its just a bit of paranoia considering daghan na hdd that crashed on me na dili akong sala, but few minutes ago, i was scanning my external seagate na laptop drive for virus and placed it on top of a newspaper which was behind the laptop screen... since i had lots of things on my mind, i forgot about it and got the newspaper to read so na slide off cya from the newspaper to the table maybe from a maximum height of 1 inch ra..

so far, the virus scan is still running and when i tried to check my files and folders, okay raman...

pero do you guys think with that kind of "fall" ma damage nana cya?

try some disk check sa drive to be sure . some harddrives can survive below 3g ang tagak never tried it
and i wont dont have spare hahaha.

e.observe lang sa.. basin sunod adlaw na mo gawas ang sakit.. pero if dli kaayo hard ang pag ka tagak, ok ra cguro na.. pero back-up lang jud sa mga important files pra sigurado if ever something bad happens.

Depende sa imong hardisk if maxtor for sure hagtos if seagate ok ra unya depende sad sa imong inclosure

try to check and scan using seatools..

hulata lang mugawas ang bun-og... kay kung taw bitaw ma tagak later naman ang bun-og, same ra sa HD, ako Seagate sauna hangtud karon ok paman... ika pila na natagak....

That may lead to serious physical damage. Try to check if it has bad sectors na. Else ok rana. Careful lang jud bro sa mga hdd where di na angay ma tagak jud sensitive kaayo na sila.
