i was with my aunt, a nun, one time in a jeepney from church. they have this vow of poverty so despite extreme heat of the sun and rushing passengers, we have to keep up. we were bringing a couple of foods in hand. as the jeepney came to a stop somewhere nearby E-Mall, 2 kids came to us asking for alms. my aunt handed to them a whole box of munchkins and to my disbelief, they threw it on the street and yelled "kwarta among kailangan uie"!
