New species are being discovered each year (mostly in remote and inaccessible areas), but what amazes me is when crypto-zoological animals step out of the shadows of folklore and into the scientific world. Big-cats (panthers etc) have been reported for decades in parts of Europe, but just recently a very credible witness came forward with video footage causing many doubters to reconsider. Giant squid were once thought to be mariner legend, however in recent years several extremely large specimens have been recovered from extreme ocean depths.

The chupacabra and it's Asian counterpart may very well be a real albeit extremely elusive animal.

    Excellent post,

We have a very limited understanding of the world we live in, and I am sure there will be many more discoveries of species we thought did not exist. Some animals are just too smart to be seen by man, but nothing can stay hidden forever, man is just become to large of a population and these animals hiding places are constantly getting smaller.

its how our old folks described a sigbin, looks like a dog but has a hind feet same a kangaroo.
possible that a chupacabra or a sigbin is just a wild animal that rarely seen by human, and it doesnt have a scientific name....

i dont think sigbin eats kalabasa or uling according to what they say... maybe its just a part of childrens bedtime story....
ahahahahaah...irung buang mana nga kagirun pre

perog kani ninuon pre 101% jud ni tinuod... kanang sigbin nga giihaw nga gikwaan og dugo para tambal sa ids.
    Spoiler!

Well it does fall under mythology, which is what most members here believe Creationism, Religions, and God are. So were else is it to be posted. Science, Sports, or Computer?
