My bday is december pa but i want to buy it before that day mao canvass ko as early as now.
i can like window shop in malls looking for one laptop after another.
i know what i want but i do not how to know what exactly im looking for, say, regarding the specs.

So Acer, Lenovo, Compaq's are fit for the budget?
Which will you recommend performance-wise?

I just got an MSI CR400X t65+ (Nvidia chipset) for Php28,500. I confirm that it's the best deal for a C2D to date and the graphics is an Nvidia 8200M G - aero glass capable, you can also play COD4.

i just got one as my office laptop...HD LED LCD super nice...
c2d...completo na pud except wala builtin bluetooth but most laptops under 30k dont come with one...nice keys but ctrl and fn key baliktad from tranditional laptop layout.
also the pause and del key baliktad pud ug location. pariha sila sa G430 weird key layout on those two aspects but ok raman dali raman ko ka adjust after a day lang payts na. 29k as is...you can add extra 2gb ram since you have extra budget man.

for a few hundred pesos more the G450 is a better deal...newer G105M nvidia graphics card with newer VP3 video processor with more video features and better hd-video decoding support.

8200M is shared graphics card plus its like 2years old.
compared to the 2009 G105M which is dedicated graphics card.

naa lang bluetooth ang msi mao naka nindot niya but then again thats less than 500pesos value maka buy man ka usb ana. ang graphics di man.

hrmmm... Nice specs! But this is not the G450 that I saw - it had C2D T6400 and Intel GMA 4500M vid, 250G HD. Do you have a link for that?. I would have chosen the above model if I saw one. Pero then again, it's still a 3,500.00 difference than MSI.

Was planning of getting the same model myself.. but after a cousin bought one and I played with it.. the sound kinda disappointed me a bit.
