i like both authors coz they both deal with the intelligance community, military things and terrorism. and their novels really make you think about what really happened.

yep... tom clancy has done extensive research regarding military strategies and hardware... on top of his novels... my favorite being the series which feature jack ryan i.e. hunt for the red october... he also has some non-fiction books.
