my question is... what happens to the players who got drafted but was never offered a contract by the team...? Same with Aguilar... he has never signed a contract yet...
@ Talentado: bro the players na na draft but wla gpa sign kay ma hagbung ni cla free agent..........wla mka uyon ang team nla guro mao wla cla g draft or naa cla direction na i prioritize mao wla nla g draft.......wla man sala c japeth ani kay wla pa man xa nka sign ug contract...pareha gd nhi ricky rubio of spain na wla xa mu sign sa minnesota timberwolves kay mu duwa pa daw xa sa ila country sa spain kay naa pa xa contract didto mga 2 years pa and dako2x xa sweldo dido....but mu balik daw xa sa minnesota after 2 years......mao ni ako explanation bro...thanks....
aguilar has the right to choose wherever he wants to play as long as there is no contract signed. going to the draft is not an assurance that the player is going to be in the team that chose him. we have to be fair with both sides here. juz look at other players being picked by the team but the team has the option not to sign the player picked in the draft and now we are talking about the other way around when the player does not sign the team picked him. does this mean this is unfair? as long as there is no contract signed then you can't blame anyone. i do remember at one time in the NBA where they have picked a player in the draft but the player never signed the contract because he changed his mind but the NBA nor the team cant do anything since there is no contract signed yet. even the chinese player jianlian as he was picked fourth, im not sure, he threatened not to sign the contract unless he is satisfied with the agreement with the team and also i can remember yao ming before he signed with the rockets where there should be an agreement for both camps before signing the contact.
PBA teams have the option whether to give contracts or not and the player dont have any option? what kind of rules they have, its a one sided affair. what they must do is to work something that in the future may never happen again but banning a player just because he changed his mind and not contract signed is just a poor decision.
nglagot lang na ang burger king management why aguilar didn't sign their contract... going to the draft is never an assurance who you'll get. its more appropriate that aguilar will be banned in the burger king franchise but NEVER NEVER in the PBA where there are still other teams out there for sure wants to hire aguilar. they are already taking this as personally rather than taking it professionally. yes you can't blame the team but you can't also blame the player. its a lesson learned for the PBA so they have to review some rules and may have some revision out of it. aguilar is a pure filipino and he has the RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHERE HE LOVES TO PLAY in the country!!! kung e banned nnyo c aguilar then i know maabot na sa korte and i know they know the PBA mapildi jud ky wala jud CONTRACT SIGNED!!! and you can't get aguilar's RIGHT of CHOICE!
mao gyud.
unfair ra sad kayu para sa tao.
Ug di pa sila ma proud ana?
