Smile A newbies Idea... pwede ni?

I think an ordinary tripod could be an option...

Here's a Newbies... Design sa baratohon nga setup....

---- Removed STEPS ON HOW (Step by step detail is too much...)-----

    CANNOT but MAY

Of course you cannot use the movable arm to point the cam down or up... But you can adjust the Height level of your tripod...

Since 6 months paman ko nagkat-on aning photography; Violent reactions and comments are welcome...

    BALLHEAD looks like this...
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/inthetrench…

For this particular model you unlock it using the lever on the right. This loosens the hold that the socket has on the ball so you can then move the platform in any number of directions.

The knob on the right allows you to adjust the amount of friction so you can better control the amount of movement when it's unlocked.

    PANHEAD looks like this...
    http://www.bogenimaging.us/webdav/site/m…

It allows you to easily 'pan' from left to right/right to left. This model has 3 knobs. The left one allows you to lock or tilt it on one axis (up/down). The middle one on the bottom of the head allows you to pan it left/right and the right one allows you to tilt it on a 3rd axis lower left/raise right side and vice versa.

What are the advantages of either? The Ball head is significantly easier to make quick adjustments because you only need to unlock it but because of this, it's also alot harder to make minute adjustments with a ball head.

The Panhead allows you to make adjustments to just one axis without affecting the other 2 axis. The disadvantage of this type of head is it's not as quick and easy to use as a ball head.

There are some that say that panheads are primarily for videography. While they certainly can benefit a videographer because you can allow it to only move in one axis (left /right, or up/down, etc.) those same qualities may be also beneficial to a photographer. It really depends on what you're shooting and the conditions you're shooting under.
