hey bro... 2nd hand boards ranges from 20k-8k... those are boards made by shapers (just like ur ex's dad). while pop-outs are around 10k-5k (pre-fab, machine generated baords)

yeah i'm actually a bodyboarder but have tried stand up a few times. was going to go for a surf again this week but we've got cyclone swells here atm. their expecting 2 to 3m swell which means that they'll be like the hieght of those tall coconut trees that you guys have there.

wala gyud ko sure aquafire. i think i saw a mini-mal sa cloud 9 last year around 12k pero wala man to bag, fins and legrope. nya gi sanggit man to dapit sa atop so wala gyud ko ka klaro... nahan gani ta ko mu palit ato pero wala man ko budget gud. grommet paman gud ko nya ako fish kay mag lisod pako ug gamit gyud.

Actually i'm thinking of selling my minimal para maka palit ko ug 9-footer. Na-a ko shortboard(second-hand) pero ma sakyan lang nako kung nindot kaayo ang kundisyuns(ako lang sa taguan). Maayo ka kay kaya nimo modala ug fish. ngilngig na ka nga gommet bai.

aquafire: where you located bro? i would really love to own a mini-mal... para mas mag enjoy ko and most probably mas lesser ako wipe outs. dili pa gyud kaayo ko kabalo mu gamit sa ako fish but wala choice gud. hehehehe... i have a 6 footer fish with an 8 inch single fixed fin... old school ayo... di pa FCS. cge lang... sa ako na suwayan mas stable ang single fin kay sa tri-fin... sakto rasad for a grommet like me. i hope you could join us in our lil surfin trip this april so that i could get some tips and lessons from you.

i got ur PM. dili ko kuyaw oi... but i can handle it sometimes... i dont have any other board to practice with (i used to have a 6'8"-6'5" rusty gun that my cousin from australia gave me. i broke it over cloud9 2 years ago). plus i'm not that tall... and before i surf i used to skate for 7 years and pretty much naa aspect and surfing na pareho ra sa skateboarding. well... skateboarding came from surfing afterall. hehehehe... i surf sa cloud 9 and the reef break to the left of the tower kay mas gagmay ug waves (beginners wave) compared to the main spot in cloud 9. i also tried the reef break across guyam island in siargao. it's around 15-25 minutes paddle from the island. it's not really worth the paddle so what we do is hire a boat to go there. hehehehe... i'm going to try lanuza this april. i know it's not the surfin season but i would love to check the place and hope for the best. besides... our house is 3 hours drive from the surf spot in lanuza and aboutthe same travel time to cloud 9 . hehehehe... so i guess that would make me some sort of a local. hehehe...
