long live karate! long live japanese martial arts!
Though naa gamay advantage ang JKA kay under sila sa JKA Japan, some instructors have been there and are exposed to good teaching methods. I am not saying nga ASK dili.
dli ni cla pwde mag united? United Karate Club Philippines? or dagko lang jud ni sila ug EGO? wla koy g pa dungog2x ha! pero mao man jud ang tinuod gud. or maybe if mag united cla dli na sila ka kwarta
It has been a vision for many karate practitioners to have a united organization. Sadly dili gyud na mahitabo, at least in the near future, with all the politics being played. Example nalang, the thread title fan the flames of prejudice between the two organizations mentioned.
About sa makakwarta...I would tend to think that if we have a solid federation of karate clubs, money would definitely flow in and even the smallest club intructors would benefit from it. Just look at the example of Taekwondo of the Philippine Teakwondo Assn. They have been very successful in marketing and have penetrated into even the smallest kindergarten schools in the country. They rake in big profits selling their merchandise as the federation require all members, even beginners, to buy official uniforms and gear. In short, even the lowest ranking instructors earn. So, unity does not mean less profits...it makes money making more efficient for everyone. The downside is that students will end up paying more.
unfortunately the situation in Karatedo is different form Taekwondo. Philippine Karatedo Federation is a federation, meaning it is an organization with different collaborating associations. daghan associations hence chief instructors. there is JKA, AAK, SKI, ASK, ISKF, KDA...etc. so medyo complicated ang dynamics. On the other hand Philippine Taekwondo Association is a single association with one chief instructor, Master Song Chong Hong, teaching Kukki Taekwondo. So order is easily achieved..
