Good site for techniques that even a 12 year old kid could also do . They simplified it for everyone and not only to experienced cooks .

In a full meal .... w/o the appetizers , it is not considered as one . Anybody wants to discuss about appetizers and share some techniques ? Posting the recipe will be done in the other thread , we'll just discuss here the secrets to make it easier and the fun way .

i love appetizers....sometimes gani kon mo visit ako in laws i serve nothing but appetizers....

    tapas in Spain
    antipasto in Italy
    dimsum in China
    pika2 in Philippines

sa Spain naa jud sila Tapa Bars....lami jud kaayo...ang ambiance and atmosphere sa lugar nindot jud....

ganahan ko appetizers kay most of them can be prepared in advance and kon nindot ka mo arrange attractive kaayo tan awon sa table....

some of my favorites are stuffed mushrooms....beef carpaccio....and mga cheese appetizers...

    @ GWYNN ..

sakto gyud hehehe ... busugon nimo ang guest sa mata and not their empty stomaches . AS long as nindot pagka arrange and garnished ang appetizer , they wont even want to ruin its presentation and tan-awon na lang nila and mo kuha na lang gamay . I also prefer :

    - potato pancakes w/ salmon and apple sauce
    - springrolls w/ sweet and spicy / peanut sauce
    - buffalo wings w/ honey and mild sauce

    * All 3 I gave as an example are readily made available na sa supermarkets so no sweat hehehehe .... the only thing is all hot sauces comes in 1 flavor so to make it milder , just add equal parts of butter .
